Take the Test in Atlantic County

Atlantic County now offers the Test Assessing Secondary Completion or "TASC for individuals without a high school equivalency and asses' secondary completion. You may register to take the all 5 subjects or choose to take one or several at a time. See fees below. To learn more about the exam, attend free informational sessions held the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month at 9:00 a.m. in Room 208 on the 2nd Floor of the Atlantic County Office of Workforce Development located at 2 South Main Street, Pleasantville, NJ 08232.

How do I register?

Pre-registration is required before a test date is issued. Registration for the TASC is held on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at 9:00 a.m. on the 2nd Floor of the Atlantic County Office of Workforce Development located at 2 South Main Street, Pleasantville, NJ 08232.   • Three forms of identification, one of which must include a photo ID. Expired forms of identification will not be accepted. Click here for a complete list of acceptable forms of identification.
  • If you're 16 or 17 years old, you must bring a signed Parental Consent Form at the time of registration. Click here to download the Parental Consent Form.
  • Blank money order. See costs below.

What are the costs?

At the time of registration, please bring with you a blank money order in the amount of:

$96.00 for all 5 subjects (Math, Writing, Reading, Science and Social Studies) OR
$21.20 for each subject area you wish to take. Example: You may test in just Reading and Social Studies at a cost of $42.40.
